Welcome to Postscript Events. We specialize in organising weddings, civil partnerships and other social events such as birthdays and baby showers.
Our company was born out of a passion for beautiful, fun and personalised weddings and events.
At Postscript Events we approach each wedding individually, getting to know our couples and using this knowledge to create a truly unique day that reflects their personalities and lifestyles. Vintage, Modern, Quirky, Elegant, Alternative, Traditional, Fun, Romantic and everything in between – however you imagine your special event the team at Postscript Events can help you coordinate the best day of your lives!
We believe that a couple’s big day should be all about them, their interests and favourite things and all of the little things that make them who they are should be included in their big day. And so in the interest of getting to know each other, meet our team:
Alex, CEO/Head Event Planner
- Loves english eccentricity and eclectic style.
- Has too many shoes to count but won’t be happy until she owns some louboutins.
- Songs on my ipod range from 50′s rock and roll, to jazz, to club classics and 80′s cheese with a good dose of indie pop splashed about.
- Thinks food and photography are the most important things for a wedding.
- Is a detail obsessive.
- Dream wedding would be in a converted warehouse, with a Fur Coat No Knickers dress, louboutin shoes, a jukebox and lots of peonies.
Gulseren, Assistant Event Planner, Researcher
- Role model is Audrey Hepburn.
- Can’t get enough of mad men style pencil skirts and faux fur jackets.
- Thinks the dress and flowers are the most important part of the wedding day.
- Is a big dreamer – has big ideas and sees the bigger picture.
- Dream wedding would be in a grand and glamorous hotel, with a bespoke red Vera Wang dress, and a black and white tie reception with roses everywhere.
As a team we have backgrounds in Hospitality, Catering, Creative Arts, Customer Services, Administration, and Psychology – giving us the experience and skills necessary to plan the perfect event for you (trust me when I say it all comes in handy).
We can provide and source every service you could desire for your event – from the stationary and the food, to aerial trapeze acts and swing bands. Our service covers London, Surrey and the South-East.
Organising a wedding or event can be stressful and time-consuming, by hiring the Postscript Events team we can save you time and money – handling all of the important factors such as budget, sourcing and negotiating with vendors and venues and coordinating every aspect of your function right down to the smallest of details.
We have approved suppliers that we can reccomend to you, we do not accept paybacks from any of our approved suppliers so you can be secure in the knowledge that any company we reccomend to you is done so based solely on their quality.
